Eggs, Deliveries and Prices

All the eggs I sell are free-range and local.The hens can roam across acres of open fields during daylight hours. Once it goes dark they sleep indoors where they are safely away from Mr Fox.

As one of the most complete, naturally produced foods, eggs provide many of the essential nutrients for a balanced diet.

Eggs are rich in Vitamin D, Vitamin A, Vitamin E and many B Vitamins especially riboflavin (B2), Vitamin B12 and folate.

They also contain the minerals phosphorous, iron, calcium and zinc. A medium egg contains just 78 kcals.

My eggs come from farms that are Freedom Food Approved and meet the Lion Code of Practice. The British Lion mark denotes eggs produced to a stringent standard incorporating the latest research and advice from scientists and vets.

Deliveries

I deliver using a pedestrian trolley. So there are no carbon emissions, no noise and it's small enough to get right to your front door.

I deliver Monday - Thursday, covering a different area of Penwortham each day.

Payment is cash on delivery. However a choice of arrangements are available, if you are not likely to be around when I call. Some customers have chosen to pay by standing order
